About the Course
This
is a basic to intermediate course on Islamic worship that covers the essentials
of faith, and the intricacies of purification, salat (prayer), zakat (charity),
fasting, hajj, etc. The course is based on the famous book by Imam Nawawi
“Al-Maqasid” translated by the eminent Shaykh Nuh Ha Mim Keller.
About the Teacher
The course will be taught by Ustaz Saifur Rahman, an accomplished teacher who
has taught at several Mosques, Darul Arqam and private learning centres on the
subjects of fiqh, seerah, tauhid and tasawwuf, with an emphasis on Islamic
values and spiritual development. Many have benefited from his interactive and
comprehensive style and charisma. He is guided by renowned teachers such as
Shaykh Zakaria Bagharib and Shaykh Md Ibrahim Kassim. He is currently the Court
Manager at Syariah Court. |

About the Course
This
short course expounds on the ethics and manners of learning and of maintaining
an Islamically positive relationship with one another. The course will also
highlight recommended ways in seeking spiritual happiness. The course is based
on the book “Two Treatises – Mutual Reminding and Good Manners” by Imam Abdullah
al-Haddad, widely regarded as a mujaddid (renewer) of the 12th Islamic century.
About the Teacher
The course will be taught by Ustaz Muhammad Saiful Adli, a graduate of Kuwait
University and Singapore's Madrasah Aljunied. He is inspired by luminaries like Habib Umar Bin Hafiz and others. He
teaches at Pergas (Certificate in Islamic Studies) and Perdaus (Diploma in
Islamic Studies) and is currently a Curriculum Development Officer at the
Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS). |
