Description
This course is an introductory course on the Prophetic healing approaches. This course will introduce to participants the medicines and treatments as practised by Prophet Muhammad, salallahu alaihi wasallam. Participants will learn about the remedies for common ailments e.g. fever, migraine, etc, and will learn the medical benefits of certain food items e.g. honey, dates, vinegar, etc. Participants will learn about ruqya and its usage, and understand the treatment of ailments caused by magic and the evil eye. Participants will also learn the theory and practical of the practice of cupping (hijamah).

Requirements
Students should have interest on Prophetic traditions, specifically on the subject of healing as advised and practiced by Prophet Muhammad, salallahu alaihi wasallam. No other knowledge, exposure or familiarity is required.
About the Teacher
Ustaz Muhammad Salleh is a graduate of Madrasah Aljunied Al-Islamiah and has completed his full-time pre-university studies at the madrasah. He also studied at the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. He was employed at SimplyIslam.sg from 2006 to 2007 as its Arabic Language Consultant. He currently teaches the level 5 and 6 classes (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) at SimplyIslam’s weekend Islamic school. With his brother, Ustaz Imamuddin, he currently operates a healing centre, Prophetic Medical Centre, at the Malay Village. He is fluent in Arabic, Malay and English.
